AUCKLAND: WORLD TAI CHI AND QIGONG DAY
Barry Curtis Park, FlatBush (400 metres past Buddhist Temple, Stancombe Road)
Free event, weather permitting, bring a friend, a cushion/seat and thermos!
Starts with a mass Tai Chi demo from all attendees (Silk-Reeling or Qigong)
then its demos (open fist and weapons) from experienced students, teachers and visiting clubs.
Then its over the road to the Buddhist Temple cafe afterwards for those interested.

2010, 27th (Sat) February.
AUCKLAND CENTRAL: Mini Workshop for Club Newbies
Intensive 3 hour session dedicated to those relatively new to the
Zhan Zhuang, Silk-Reeling, 4 & 13 Step forms. get up to speed quickly.
Taken by Malisa at Grey Lynn location, 1-4pm. Please register with Malisa.

2009, 27th June to 7th July
KUALA LUMPUR: Club Tai Chi Temple Mountain Retreat

Stay at a Buddhist Temple complex nestled in morning mist high above the rural valleys of Malaysia.
The air is clean, the tropical heat forgotten and the only sound is that of monkeys in the forest below.
Includes 25 hrs of daily Chen style Tai Chi training (demos/forums included) with plenty of time to relax
or bus over to the huge theme park/Casino/restaurants complex 5km away.

Next is 3 nights stay in central KL (Chinatown) with daily morning
training at the nearby ChinWoo stadium (Malisa's former club) and all the food
you care to sample in Petaling Street. Lots of interesting places to visit.

Then we journey south to visit a few Chen clubs for
Tai Chi Exchange and common training in Johor Bahru and Singapore.

AUCKLAND:
Albert Park 7.30pm or so
Our group is demo-ing at around 7.30pm. Contact Malisa if you want to join in the fun.
The martial art stage is one of the most popular corners of the park during Lantern Festival.
Afterwards lots of other interesting sites, foodstalls, lantern displays and entertainment to see.

Malisa's renowned master (19th gen) returns from Chen Village to provide
a variety of Chen workshops/events for beginners and experienced alike.
Master Zhu is one of the top handful of Chen stylist's world-wide.
This is the beginning of 4 monthly visits to Brisbane by both
Master Zhu or Ng Malisa to provide regular, comprehensive and
top quality Chen Taijiquan teaching on the eastern seaboard.

AUCKLAND: Club World Tai Chi & Qigong Day Event

Farm Cove Intermediate School (Gymnasium), Pakuranga
We ask all class members, young and old, to join together in a mass demonstration
as part of a worldwide effort - sending a wave of healing energy
around the globe.
We Kiwis are the first country to kick this off and expect at least 120 participants to help.
Demos from teachers and younger members as well as visiting groups.

Bring a thermos/cut lunch, blanket and a friend for lunch outside the Gymn on the grass weather-permitting.
Club uniform please (black/dark trousers and white tshirt/top if you have them).
Assemble 9.45am, start 10.00am sharp.

An amazing experience for the 10 intrepid members who journeyed there in the
middle of winter. They came back with stories of beautiful sights, great food, wonderful history
and cold feet
