Longtime local, Christchurch TaiChi teacher,
Dr. Denis Walker, launched weekly Chen classes
this August with the support of Chenshi Taichicise
Centre. Members (including Malisa, Kelvin and
Monica) flew down from Auckland to help host
a Saturday evening DemoNight followed by a one
day Chen Workshop.
It was a warm and enjoyable weekend for everybody
involved, made all the more so by the heavy-ish
snowfall which started during the workshop -
the first time Christchurch has had such a dusting
for 10 years or so.
